  1. Lead now Twins bullpen-safe! Just try not to hit my Jinx Drum. It's not paid for yet. http://whenonearth.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Piornal-Spain-people-throw-turnips-at-the-folkloric-figure-of-El-Jarramplas.jpeg
  2. Just when I thought I couldn't like Max more, he makes that catch, AND Dick relates the heartwarming anecdote about him going with Mom's last name because it sounds more Minnesotan. Kepler's like a bathtub full of cute, fuzzy German Shepherd pups... who dig up a fortune in precious metals in the back yard. http://www.cbc.ca/gfx/images/news/photos/2011/02/07/ottawa-abandoned-puppies-58.jpg
  3. My hope is that in a few years watching old footage of pitching with only a cap on the head will look like football with a leather helmet or hockey without one does now.
  4. Kepler catch = Wow. When that ball left the bat the only question in my mind was whether it was going to be a double or triple for the Rays.
  5. I'd settle for just seeing him give up a few runs and get pulled, but... either way. http://usatthebiglead.files.wordpress.com/2013/05/happ-hit-to-head1.gif?w=1000
  6. Please, MLB middle infielders, when there's a runner on first and a grounder up the middle, NO PEEKING! http://www.pardot.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/tumblr_m11z8r3AYH1r3gup8o1_500.gif* *unless the baserunner is Sano or Vargas.
  7. Nobody sells the Big Turn Single like Dozier. I've seen competition slalom waterskiers that don't lean as much.
  8. Not a big Millone fan, but the more the bubble guys get looked at now the more info there is to help decide what to do with them in the offseason. Or something like that. That's what I'm telling myself when guys like that get playing time, anyway.
  9. Sounds good. An insurance run is nice; four is better.
  10. They use Uber now. Download the app now, and you might be the winner of the Demotion Derby driver sweepstakes!
  11. There's a guy I'll never, ever get tired of.... disliking intensely. Not a big Pete Rose fan, either. PS Just kidding, Ray.
  12. He loves the smell of quality start in a road game.
  13. I got just the thing for that in my tackle box... http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/luYAAMXQTghRTN3c/s-l300.jpg
  14. Max's dad, you are lean and angular! Now is the time on FSN Postgame when we dance!
  15. Real Alec Baldwin in this looks to me like Herman Munster trying to avoid stepping in dog poo.
  16. That sounds much more doable than our attempt at chickens#!^ chess. If you think it's hard to explain the en passant rule to 4th graders, try getting a Cornish game hen to understand. "If your chicken lays an egg does it count as another queen?" "Of course it counts! How do you play?" http://www.mentalfloss.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/TSOTL.jpeg
  17. Not without surgery, anyway.
  18. Sgt. Schultz likes this ...even though he saw nothing http://www.inspiringquotes.us/data/image/2013/2/e/1026-john-banner.jpg
  19. Check out the big brain on Aggies! You're a smart... other trucker! http://screenmusings.org/movie/blu-ray/Pulp-Fiction/images/Pulp-Fiction-051.jpg
  20. I had always imagined it was patient introspection on Nishioka's face, but maybe he had skipped ahead to boredom. http://www.twincities.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/20110311_105647_nishioka.jpg And depression.
  21. Or if your team were on pace to lose... like... one hundred games or something. That's never happened, though, right? Because if each game lasts like three hours and you watched all 100 losses, you'd end up watching... like, what... 300 hours of losing baseball? But that could never happen. Right?
  22. That explains why I could hear Longoria's dad yelling from the stands during Evan's rookie year, riding the manager for not batting him cleanup.
  23. Thank goodness I'm not the only one who takes it seriously. The other parents were pretty skeptical of me during my assistant coaching days when I encouraged the kids to charge the T if it brushed them back.
  24. When the ball is fouled back out of play I almost expect to hear a crash followed by a car alarm going off. I've been to T ball games with more crowd noise.
