    Is 8/9 going to be the official date that the wheels come completely off? It feels like the lug nutz have been loose for the better part of 2 months and the trade deadline was the last gas station to get our car checked before we drove off into the desert.

    With the additions that we made to our bullpen we can afford to have a SP only go 3 innings. In fact I think we should do this the rest of the way. Our defence has been picking all of our pitchers up when they are struggling... Serenity now.

    So, Miguel is obviously the hero and well deserved, but can we all take a moment to appreciate another great job by Arreaz? His timely hitting and amazing approach at the plate have made some of these home runs both possible and soul crushing for the other teams. I really don't know how they could go back to Schoop at this point. He is providing to much value by either starting rallys or continuing them.

    Does anyone know some of the starting pitchers that are going to be hitting the FA market this winter? If we are playing the long game who are we looking at to have as a potential starting 5 next year? If they are this frugal at this deadline to get someone with team control them must have an idea of who they are targeting to replace 3 if not 4 of the 5.
