  1. I've seen people blame Rocco for today's game and I don't necessarily agree. Yesterday I thought he did a terrible job managing the bullpen but today I thought he managed well. He put a guy in the 9th who the front office traded for and thought was going to help the team...he didn't. He had no other option but to put Rogers in if he wants to win because there's very few reliable arms out there.
  2. I wish I could have the same hope about the chances, but then I remember we have Trevor May in our bullpen
  3. I blame the front office 100%. Rocco has no other choices.
  4. Only the Twins front office could make a trade and cost this team a win right away
  5. "Twins get the best reliever at the deadline" - FanGraphs
  6. Dyson ERA at San Fran: 0.34 Dyson ERA away: 4.74
  7. Because Rocco managed the pitchers this game terribly.
  8. Amazing call taking Berrios out of the game. Truly amazing.
  9. I think coddling is a big reason why Berrios was pulled. It's just what Rocco has done all year long. There's no reason why Berrios should be pulled. None. 80 some pitches. Cruising up and down the lineup.
  10. Let Berrios have a chance at the complete game for God's sake. This coddling crap is so dumb.
  11. Seen people argue that if the Twins break the homerun record that it won't be legit because of the "juiced" balls. Well all the other teams are playing with the same balls, right? Twins just do it better than everyone else.
  12. Just goes to show how much luck needs to be on the pitcher's side for a no hitter or perfect game
  13. Tony Diaz has made a lot of questionable calls this year. I think Rocco should look for a new 3rd base coach next year.
  14. The World Series winners are going to be teams that make moves like these and not depend on prospects panning out. I wish the Twins could trade their top 10 prospects right now for the Astros front office.
  15. Sam Dyson at Oracle this year: 26.1 IP 0.34 ERA .393 OPS allowed On the road: 24.2 IP 4.74 ERA .730 OPS allowed
  16. ALDS game 5. 7th inning. Top of the Yankees lineup coming up in a 2-2 ballgame. Now pitching for the Twins...Lewis Thorpe. Still confident?
  17. Yup. The ol' Twins classic. Get some bullpen arms in the offseason just to DFA them during the middle of the season. Don't worry though. Our AAA guys with 0 playoff experience will save the day!
  18. Twins...you see what the Braves are doing? That is what you needed to do.
  19. Haha. I knew this FO would do next to nothing at the deadline. We get 1 MLB relief pitcher and that's it. We have a bullpen of Rogers, Romo, and a bunch of AAA guys. What a joke.
