    I agree with the point that it's unwise to build your team around Buxton when you know he will not be able to play 125+ games a year.

    TC is out of it. I do not understand the refusal to date to give ERod a real look against MLB pitching. I can only hope that he is a Sept callup.

    Just wait. Keaschall can be average on D at 1B and there is pop in that bat. Granted he won't hit 40 HR. People didn't think Lee had it and he's got a shot at 25+ HR and 80 RBI. I think Keaschall can be a 20+ HR high OBP guy.

    The season will not end "just short of the playoffs." Seasons end will have TC at least 8 games out of the playoffs.

    Buxton shutting down for the season would be in TC best interest for this season and next. It allows him to get healthy not play injured and TC to get an extended look at their top AAA outfielders in MLB games and make some needed decisions. It's win win. Bet they don't do it.
