  1. I didn't see the play, but will take everyone's word on it. How could I not, based upon our OF defense this first couple weeks of the season. Obviously, Arcia has very good offensive potential and I am not throwing him in the garbage, but this OF cast of characters is going to wreak havoc on our baseball sanity this season. It was poorly conceived. It is most probably not the right course of action, but I am going to go to sleep tonight, and I will probably have a nightmare about having to go back to High school - which is often, and I will have a nightmare about how most of our position players are batting under the Mendoza line. I will then wake up from my slumber, go to work, get home from work, check Twins Daily and to my delight, find out our starting line-up consists of Rosario in LF, Buxton in CF, and Hicks in RF. They might bat like crap, but this whole outfield defense thing has been a disaster so far - and the guys we have haven't really hit very well (being kind). But, what the hell, Rome wasn't built in one day.
  2. Ash, you cannot fight it. You need to succumb to the powers of the Olsen MN Twins. Deep down inside, in the places within your core that you do not visit often is a locked treasure chest - within this chest are concepts, ideas and icons that you really believe in, but are not willing to express in a public format or admit to liking. The Olsen Twins are in that very treasure chest.
  3. Facial hair, long hair, etc., etc... It's all good to me unless it is inspired by "Duck Dynasty", if that is the case, that is just pathetic. Personally, I think Mauer should grow his hair out a bit, get a tight curled perm, shave in a pencil thin mustache, and wear a monacle... but that is only my preference. Joe should do what he wants to do - unless it is inspired by "Duck Dynasty". That cannot be tolerated.
  4. Thanks for that. All the credit goes to Gibby. He is the one who served me a meaty 75mph fastball down the middle. Today I was lucky enough to take advantage of that.
  5. ... and of course for you Brian.
  6. To my sisters and brothers of Twins Daily, let us raise the Rally Roger high, let us raise it loud, let us raise it proud!!!
  7. Maybe Herrera is channeling his inner "Gallagher" and instead of using a sledge hammer to a water melon, he is using a baseball to a human head... just a guess.
  8. Now I will follow your teachings my Master.
  9. I am starting to think that Gibby's avatar is really Gibby.
  10. I am starting to think Vargas needs to use a wheel chair when he is on the base paths - I think it would increase his speed.
  11. What have I missed? Has Circus Boy become a cult leader or something? I suppose Twins Daily could use a David Koresh or Jim Jones of its own.
  12. Well, if there were no cigarette butts or tobacco spit in it, you might as well finish it up.
  13. Dear Mr. Lounge, I see that you might have made a slight error in your projection of positivity.
  14. This is my projection of positivity for the day: Mauer goes 4/4, Vargas and Plouffe - 2HR's a piece. Twins win 13-4.
  15. My son came through tonight. The Rally Roger is our beakon. Blinded in the night, you sometimes need a stealthy hero to execute the almighty task. Plouffe is the real McCoy and that will ring true and true and true!!! Sorry Halsey.
  16. Sorry about your misadventures or whatever they are deemed. I am glad to have you back!
  17. Hey Gibby - I see you are activated. How was Japan? If the destination is wrong, my mistake and sorry for that.
  18. ...or two for one depending how you like to surf the waves (in a creepy voice, channeling the feel of Rob Lowe's creepy guy cable commercial).
  19. To Ash, JB and Mom. Don't blame the messenger for the Olsen Twins... blame Brian!
  20. The Twins won yesterday without any assistance - that is a good thing. I will not be able to participate in tonight's festivities and I want to pledge my allegiance to the Twins and raise the flag of the "Rally Roger". Let us pillage and destroy Cleveland's baseball team tonight and the days ahead!
