  1. Everytime, Julien double clutches on his throws. I bet the kid can't even drive a manual transmission.
  2. Come on dick, refrain from setting Justin and Trevor up, by asking ridiculous questions
  3. We're slowly letting Seattle off the hook.
  4. I hope Justin, is working the gates of heaven, the day I die.
  5. Rather have Morneau not say anything, than to constantly challenge the viewers.
  6. Just stop it. My ribs can't keep handle these constant chuckles.
  7. Beautiful. Twins just showed a text book way of blowing a lead-off double. ......Priceless.
  8. We are all dealing with hip and lower back injuries!
  9. That and his enthusiastic retort on warning track flyballs.
  10. I do believe Rocco makes out the lineup. I've seen him scribble on construction paper with a crayon, prior to meeting with the umps at homeplate.
  11. Lots of players/rookies that are blocked, due to their attitude and/or lack of maturity. Some have mental issues that don't override their talent.
  12. Sorry to work you up. As tired as I am of seeing this bs, I'm more tired of feeling compelled to vent about it.
  13. If a manager or a GM, for that matter, was asked about playing someone with Buxton's stats and injury history, they would laugh at you. they would say he doesn't deserve a MLB roster spot. So why is Buxton any different? His strikeouts and pop ups count the same, as do his runs. The only difference is his name. As far as I know, there's no pedigree attached. So what's the truth? come on FO, be transparent for once in your tenure.
  14. Teams try to win games in order to draw fans. Obviously, not everyone wins enough, so the teams need to provide other means of entertainment. This may range from a decent baseball team, to a nice stadium, variety of concessions, mascots to entertain the kids and t-shirts shot from a hand cannon. So, Gallo fills a portion of that secondary entertainment. People love homers and want to cheer for the guy who hits the 400 foot blast. Gallo fills that role, although not often enough for most of us. The average fan (kid or adult) doesn't really get that involved in the myriad of stats measuring Gallo's effectiveness. They just want to see Gallo take a mighty swing and send the ball into the stands.
  15. Think of it as playing musical chairs. Falvey chooses the participants, rocco plays the music, and the players find or battle their way to a chair.
  16. It's rocco's responsibility to give players the chance to excel. His line up selection, bullpen management, in game strategy are at his control. But he can only put forth opportunity. Only players can pull the trigger, so to speak. If Rocco can't strategize, he should go. If the player can't perform, they should go or at least sit. Very hard to do one without the other.
