I'll be at the Twins game in Baltimore Sunday the 29th, which is apparently tomorrow. Any TwinsDaily meetups?

The Twins emailed me back, maybe this is useful for the historical record: The facility is only open during games, and the season will not yet have begun while you are there, so the facilities will be closed during your trip.

Has anyone visited the Twins' player development academy in Boca Chica, DR? I'll be in the Dominican Republic in May slightly before the Dominican Summer League schedule starts but maybe in time to see preseason training, and it would be fun to visit another Twins affiliate. I think I've read that the academies are open to the public, though not necessarily set up for visitors. Any tips for visiting?

I'll be visiting Kansas City this Friday-Sunday, just like a certain Minnesota Baseball Club. Will anyone else be there? Any planned meetups for Twins fans?

For the archives and for the future: the bars closest to Nationals Park were kinda a bust for baseball, let alone Twins fans. Football dominated the screens at Tom's Watch Bar and Walter's. Blackfinn is apparently a Gophers bar and at least had a better atmosphere when I caught one of the non-Sunday games, though I don't remember any Twins enthusiasm.

Wow, Twins playoff games can be non-torture again! I'm in Washington, DC and surely in this town of transplants there is a bar where a few fans will gather. Any suggestions? One million bonus points for walking distance from the Metro.

One of Salt River's taxi squad players turned traitor and DH'd for Surprise. And only one Twins prospect was willing to play yesterday. There's only one possible conclusion: Tommy Watkins has lost the clubhouse, in the Arizona Fall League. Sad! But it sure was nice of him to come chat with us.
