  1. Yeah you're right, I was overthinking it.
  2. Walkoff vs Boston. I can't think of many others though.
  3. Because I think he could be above average defensively wherever he plays honestly. and it would give the Twins more positional flexibility. Moving Sano to DH and having him play 1st 1/3 of the timen as well as an option at 3rd occasionally while adding a good power hitting 1st baseman. Probably a stupid idea I must admit.
  4. Sorry I just think he would adapt quickly there. Have a Solid power hitting first baseman and have Sano DH as a secondary option at 1st and 3rd.
  5. With Freddie Freeman of the braves switching over to 3rd base I want to ask, How do you guys think Mauer would do at 3rd? just a crazy thought.
  6. I just know he is going to be prancing around and get too cocky... and drop the ball in a critical situation one of these days.
  7. I would much rather see that slot in the rotation be given to one of the AA guys on a couple game by couple game basis. Just to get their feet wet and if they stick GREAT. Maybe give Slegers a shot as well?
  8. I'm at the point that of course I would like to continue to see the Twins stay in the race. Yet I can't stand to see Santiago go out and pitch 3 innings every fifth day. I would love for them to slowly give the studs in AA a chance and see if they stick, maybe give Slegers a shot. Because every time Santiago starts we all know he will break down in the third or fouth inning... so what is the point of even running him out there at this point.
  9. And Nolasco is pretty freaking bad.
  10. Jones, Stewart and Hunter. The dream team. Throw some Lew Ford in the mix and I'm happy.
  11. I appreciate advanced stats just as much as the next guy. But the cringe meter is my ultimate stat. But what do I know.. I mean Nick Markakis is my favorite player in the MLB but advanced stats hate him.
  12. But.... do you cringe everytime it is hit in his direction?
  13. I also appreciate not having to watch him in RF anymore.
  14. Personally I find it hard to watch Rosario prance around the outfield all the time. However i would take the slightly erratic players, Sano's fundamentals don't worry me nearly as much as Rosario's.
  15. And now all goes off the rails.
  16. I must be blind. I didn't look into it much after the fact though. I'll just go along with the popular opinion on this one!
  17. You have actually seen an angle in which you can see the ball???
  18. Seems like Santiago is giving up a few MPH on his fastball for improved command. Maybe he was paying attention when Vargas was pitching???
  19. I sweat less watching Jorge than when I watch Gibby or Santiago pitch.
  20. Well, he wasn't bad. I would love to see Gonsalves as well as Romero get a shot as well in the next few months.
  21. Add Palacios and De La Torre to that list as well.
  22. It's unfortunate timing, however its the "Heisman" of college baseball so I would hope that the organization would highly encourage him attending! It's a pretty big deal. Meanwhile Hunter Greene hasn't signed and just walks around acting like a celebrity while holding out so he can ensure the highest bonus ever. I would be more worried if that was the case.
  23. Porcello works quick, <3 1/2 hour game one can hope.
