  1. Right now, playing Assassin's Creed Origins. I already went through Dead Space (2023 remake), and Assassin's Creed Black Flag. I bought during the Steam Christmas sale, and landed like 20 games. I'll be going through them for the next several months.
  2. I bought a Legion Go S just after Christmas, and I'm super-impressed with the device. SteamOS is pretty sweet, though it's necessarily more complicated than owning a Switch or some other prepackaged console. I'm a parent of two kids, and I found that it was basically impossible for me to ever play a game more adult than The Legend of Zelda. The Legion allows me to be a psychotic murder hobo without the ensuing unfortunate conversations with my kids. Who here has a SteamOS device and/or uses Steam? What games are you playing? I'm such a fan of this device that I'm in talks with other owners to create a SteamOS news/reviews site.
  3. Sweet Lou, Comrade Cody, and Ol' Gregg give offseason grades for the Twins pitchers and hitters. Is it an F or an F-? Lou attempts to provide structure as Gregg complains about folk music and Cody names his favorite world leaders. Royce says the Darnedest Things, and so does Aaron Gleeman. 5. In this special episode, Brock Beauchamp and Matt Lenz break down the Twins' signing of Victor Caratini to a two-year contract. He's a capable backup catcher, but do the Twins want more from him, and does this mean a Ryan Jeffers trade is incoming? 7. We use licensed photos only, and there aren't many licensed photos of the Pohlads. We don't just grab photos off of Google; that's illegal.

  9. Even better, cattle steroid injections not approved for human use.
  10. I believe I have this problem fixed now, please drop a note if you're still seeing flashing.
  11. Sweet Lou and Ol' Gregg team up to set some resolutions for coaches, players, and ancillary characters with your Minnesota Twins. There's a gripe and a blind lineup as well. 13. Yeah, it turns out this problem was linked to the database server failing the other day. I still don't know what caused it, the server just crashed, and was fine afterward.
  14. Oh, I'm not saying he's completely cooked, but work needs to be done to get him back to where he was. Is that possible? Sure. Likely? Probably not. If a team has $10m to burn a spot for a left-handed singles hitter, have at it. That's not the Twins.
  15. There are so many people in this thread that have very obviously not watched Luis Arraez take a plate appearance since 2022.
  16. Except in 2025, he hit that baseball really really weakly, and made a bunch of outs. I watched him a ton with the Padres, and specifically asked someone to write this piece because 2026 Luis Arraez is not 2021 Luis Arraez.
  17. Sweet Lou and Brock Beauchamp break down the Twins' signing of first baseman Josh Bell. He fills a need, though imperfectly, and shows just how much more work there is to do on the 2026 Twins. 19. Out of the first base options, this is the one I preferred at this price range (O'Hearn is a better player, but the Twins probably shouldn't be handing out a two-year contract to him). Bell is an absolute butcher in the field. I'm not sure he actually wears his glove on the correct hand, or even that he has ten fingers. Which means he should be playing a lot of DH, and then occasionally playing first when Kody Clemens is benched against a lefty.
  20. Dan Hayes of The Athletic reported that the Twins are shopping at the mid-tier level of first basemen, checking in on the likes of Josh Bell, Ryan O'Hearn, and Rhys Hoskins. Want to know more about Rhys Hoskins? Read our in-depth write-up on him. O’Hearn is 32, a left-handed first baseman who spent 2024 with Baltimore and split 2025 between Baltimore and San Diego. In 2024, he logged 494 plate appearances with 15 home runs and a .264/.334/.427 line, along with a 9.3 percent walk rate, 14.0 percent strikeout rate, .330 wOBA, and 118 wRC+. In 202,5 he collected 544 plate appearances, hitting 17 home runs with a .281/.366/.437 line, 10.7 percent walks, 20.0 percent strikeouts, a .349 wOBA, and 127 wRC+. He's decent with the glove, posting a +3 Outs Above Average at first base in 2025. Bell is 33 and played first base for Miami and Arizona in 2024, then for Washington in 2025. In 2024, he totaled 603 plate appearances across two clubs with 19 home runs and a .249/.319/.405 triple slash; his walk and strikeout rates were 8.5 percent and 19.9 percent, with a .317 wOBA and 101 wRC+. In 2025, with Washington, he made 533 plate appearances, hitting 22 home runs with a .237/.325/.417 line, 10.7 percent walks, 16.5 percent strikeouts, a .324 wOBA, and 107 wRC+. He's a bad defender at first, with a -7 Outs Above Average at first base in 2024 and -3 in 2025. Hoskins is 32 and has played first base for Milwaukee in both 2024 and 2025. After missing the 2023 season recovering from injury, he returned in 2024 for 517 plate appearances with 26 home runs and a .214/.303/.419 line; his walk rate was 10.3 percent, strikeout rate 28.8 percent, with a .313 wOBA and 101 wRC+. In 2025, he appeared in 90 games and 328 plate appearances, hitting 12 home runs with a .237/.332/.416 line, 11.6 percent walks, 27.7 percent strikeouts, a .324 wOBA, and 109 wRC+. Like Bell, he is a bad defender at first base, with -4 Outs Above Average in 2024 and +1 in 2025. View full rumor
