Things to Think About:

 

1. Think about Doumit... Ryan Doumit is back from the disabled list. I hope he was watching the power surge and decides to join right in.

 

2. Think about Colabello... With Doumit coming back... Someone had to go down... It's a log jam in the corner outfield spot so... Colabello it is... Are you kidding me... The guy was just starting to get on a roll... OPS .948 in his last 16 games.

 

3. Think about Ramirez... Not the White Sox Guy... The Twins guy... He's in the lineup and it's been awhile for him so I'm happy for Wilken... But Colabello was sent down and Arcia is sitting tonight against the lefthander. Personal Note to Wilken... Colabello was sent down... You gotta do something.

 

4. Think about Correia... What is he going to bring us tonight.

 

5. Think about Sliced Bread... All Great things are compared to Sliced Bread. Before Sliced Bread you had to slice it yourself or typically... People just used their hands and pulled off a chunk of the bread and dipped it in gravy or something. Sliced Bread led to even thinner slices and that led to more consumption of bread and that led to the increased consumption of things to spread on the bread like Jam and Peanut Butter. Sliced Bread launched Skippy and Jif into big time business. After thinking about all of that... My question is this... What was the greatest thing... before sliced bread?

I think the greatest thing before sliced bread was the wheel. To this day people are still reminded they don't have to invent the wheel.

 

Thankfully we won't have to speculate on this.

 

 

 

Just need to wait for Chief to get up from his nap.

This is gonna time out real nice... I can watch the Vikings 1st team play for an hour and switch to the Twins when the 5th teamers are playing.

I get to actually sit and relax (unless Correia is really awful) and watch the game tonight. No where else to be and no work clouding my ability to just sit, veg and watch.

Well ... I do have more 'home projects' I'm going to start on my hiatus ... but more like find someone I can pay to do them for me. How are you with building fine furniture, building out closets to make them more efficient storage spaces, and painting (walls and trim)?

That depends... Do you want the stuff built to look nice. If you don't care about superficial things like... Craftsmanship... I'm your guy.

I've seen Buffalo from Niagara Falls, that's as close as I'm interested in getting.

 

I've been to Buffalo/Niagara Falls twice. 1st time was my Honeymoon and the other time was with the kids. They always liked getting wet so we figured that Niagara Falls would do the trick.

 

Had to stop in Buffalo to go to the Anchor Bar where Buffalo Wings were invented. Buffalo as a city doesn't seem... Vibrant... That's the best way that I can put it nicely.
