Wallner has to be on his way out. I really hoped he would be better but this isn’t working.

Never had Kepler's glove ability and never even hit as well as Kepler could, but for years all the blabber was about getting Kepler gone and Wallner in.

Ah, Lewis is right on the Mendoza line; time to change name to the Lewis Line?

This has been a consistent problem in Twins development and roster construction.  We gave up on Rooker because Larnach was going to be the next power hitter.  We gave up on Larnach because Wallner was the next great power hitter.  We let Kepler walk because Wallner was going to take over his position and his production.  Now there are calls to see the next shiny toy in the box (Rodriguez, Jenkins, Gonzalez, Fedko, take your pick).  I think Wallner needs to get sent down.  I don't want it to be so reactionary that we are desperate to see the next shiny toy in the box.

Well, the leadoff hitter did hit a solo jack the following inning ...

Guess a weak single will have to do

Gopher ball starting to re-emerge as a problem for Taj.

The RARE moment sliding into First would have been a good idea.

Putrid hitting so far by Twins

We are forecast to be better in 2027, assuming no strike.

At the risk of jinxing him - Bradley pitching has been a nice development for the Twins this March & April - it has been a pleasure to watch him pitch hope it continues to at least give us something to look forward to watching the team.

That split-finger Taj has is one of the best pitches in the game. He's only given up three hits while throwing his split finger and has an over 42% Whiff rate. Good to see him throwing it so well right now.
