Twins entertain BoSox @ Hammond. It’s on TV (Bally Sports). Mahle vs. Sale.

Mahle fans the lead off hitter and then allows a ground single.

Didnt go so well for Mahle shortly after that

Seven hits and a walk in 2.1 for Mahle. Ouch! Sale looks pretty good. It's nice to hear Provus on the broadcast.

A lot of soft contact among his seven hits, but the Red Sox look much sharper than the Twins today.

Jeffers goes deep.  Now lets see 15+ of those this year.

Red sox stealing bases with ease.

It’s getting ugly on the bases. 4 steals already for the Red Sox and Jeffers hasn’t even been close to throwing a guy out. It’s time for him to go back to a traditional setup or teams are going to abuse him this year.

Three throws for Jeffers. A bad one on the first SB attempt. A decent throw that short-hopped Farmer and really no chance on the throw to third. He does need to improve his throwing, but the pitchers have to give him a chance.

Heh ... from reading this I thought the Twins lost, by a lot ... they won, 4-3
