I know nobody every says "I don't get it" on this Twins Daily place you got going here but ... I don't get it.

'Fines' as a verb reads one way, as an adjective it goes a different direction.  Not funny?  That's fine, you can fine me.

You can say that again

Seems like a little while ago Morris went out for the tenth inning.

[ashbury]

Looks like he did it.  What does he get?  A spent?

If they're going to give half a dozen Holds to the winning team tonight for maintaining a 2-run lead, they could throw couple to the losing team for maintaining a close enough deficit.

Fiennes agent on line 2.

That's just fine. The end. Edited August 20, 2014 by CRArko

What's worse...getting up 5-0 early, only to lose...or...getting behind big early, and have the rally fall short?

Going to the game, thinking you get to see a win for once at Target Field, then watching the opposing team slowly take away all your happiness.

Yeah, this game was painful - so much hope at the beginning, only to see all the good things frittered away.

If they are going to lose, I'd prefer that it be falling just short after battling back.
