Is this start for Parmelee out of sympathy? Will he get sent down after the game to make room for Morneau, or will they actually go down to 12 pitchers? Since they'll be in an NL park this weekend, you'd think that the Twins would want the bench flexibility, but then again ...

Who is twirling for the Tribe? I'm wondering if it's a lefty. Also, if Gardy prefers Carroll at third and Casilla at second (as they are aligned today) why has Casilla played third when he has replaced Plouffe?

So in his pre-game comments Gardy doesn't see how they can go down to 12 pitchers.

Great, to interleague ball with a weak bench and bloated staff. Should work great.

That is one sorry lineup

Wow...my glass-half-full outlook sees a good mix of OBP/speedy gonzaleses and some power bats.

I'm more concerned with Marquis not giving up 12 hits and 6 runs in 5 innings.

Good luck with that....

What a mess. 13 pitchers and no end in sight? I've been thru some tough times as a Twins fan but this is the worst.

It's a shame mastro didnt lead off the game with a single so they'd have a chance at a GDP in every inning.

Unbelievable how many double plays we hit into - why don't we mix a few hit and runs in there. The double play seems to be guaranteed with us - if we hit and run at least we have some small percentage of maybe stelaing a base or getting a wild throw.

Marquis has taken to the whole pitch to contact thing like a duck to water.

I thought Target Field was not a Home Run park?

It plays a lot bigger in the bottom half of innings. Something to do with wind patterns I think.

Did the Indians just hit more homeruns in 1 inning, than Mauer has for the history of Target Field? Really, how embarrassing is the Twins' team lack of power? It's a joke of a team right now.

lol! Brought back to mind the rumor that we were blowing the fans out in the Homerdome when we batted - we must be turning on the switch to blow the air/wind out when the visitors are up rather than when we are up at Target Field. Someone tell them to hurry up and get that straightened out.
