  1. He was only throwing 91 MPH the other night when he was giving up lasers. Curious when the injury occurred, and if anyone has asked.
  2. How many times now has he reported an injury after getting shelled? Hope this gets fixed ASAP, and he comes back healthy & effective.
  3. Except for that game-tying homer in the 8th inning, the other day. Yes, has been a pretty rough going.
  4. OMG. That went between the sandstone wall and the foul pole. Nearly was a White Sox grand slam.
  5. Yep. Gotta jump on them early.
  6. Forgot to bring the bats for the trip.
  7. Twins need to score 3 this inning.
  8. I thought they'd lose Tonkin, just based on how poorly the majority of spring was going. He did somewhat salvage it, though, as of late. Also, his K-rate in the minors, as well as the fact he consistently hits 97 MPH on radar guns, makes him a tough guy to let go.
  9. Palka is 24; yes, hope he gets placed at AA - at minimum. Kid does not get cheated on his swings. Ball really comes off of his bat well. Hoping for big things from him.
  10. I don't think you're crazy at all. Still, I would disagree based upon this: * 2010: 9 HR * 2011: 3 HR * 2012: 10 HR * 2013: 11 HR * 2014: 4 HR * 2016: 10 HR He hasn't even averaged 8 HR in the past 6 years. Nice hit today, though. Would definitely like to see the production you listed.
  11. I sure don't disagree with that!
  12. Yes. The complete disaster that was 2015 aside, I do not disagree that he has been talented at the plate. In fact, I really found his swagger and flair for the dramatic to be quite refreshing. At the same time, I can not stand when he "hot dogs" simple plays. My gripes: * Not knowing how many outs there are * Not running out pop flies & grounders after batting a ball in play * Not making a full effort toward batted balls hit to him while on defense One play - which quantifies my point: http://m.mlb.com/video/v81918783/minkc-arcia-drops-moustakas-fly-ball-in-the-6th/?query=arcia+error I honestly think this behavior has set him back a lot. Effort is something that needs to be present... at an absolute minimum. If he were hitting a ton, there would be a bit more forgiveness on issues like this. He's not. It's clear that you feel differently, and obviously I understand if the Twins bring him north. If that happens, I'll root for him; same as always.
  13. Who said anything about 4th outfielder? I would start Kepler in RF and put Sano at 1B. Difference of opinion. Not that big of a deal.

That being said, do you think it's a good business decision to promote players who are severely under-performing?
