  1. Right? 38 pitch marathon inning and he swings at the first pitch smh
  2. 38 pitches to get through the first inning, my goodness. I’ll put the Stooges back on I guess. Although this is some good slapstick, farcical comedy too
  3. Because the guy who, himself, cost the twins at least 5 runs in the Yankees series with a litany of mental mistakes and misplays, hasn’t missed an inning of play since. He should have been pulled right after the inning where he forgot how many outs there were. There are physical mistakes and then there is playing with your head up your behind.
  4. Very streaky team that appears to be poorly coached. I’m talking about gameplay more than managerial moves (although that too). The twins had two chances to get Ramírez out and botched both with Correa lining up illegally and no communication on the foul pop up. Then they toss the ball into the outfield on the stolen base where Ramírez struck out. Maybe SWR would have stayed in the game without the extra pitches instead of being pulled
  5. Twins are 12-23 against Cleveland since 2022
  6. Home plate umpire Roberto Ortiz wanted to catch the second half of the pacers/knicks game. Allegedly
  7. True. But we did a great job screwing ourselves before the umpire got involved, too.
  8. I wonder if this will be one of those years where we play incredible for 20 games then worse than awful for another 20
  9. “José Ramírez is hitting .272 with 164 hits, 21 homers, 74 RBIs and 89 runs scored in 158 games versus the Twins in his career.”
  10. lol no you were right. Danny Darwin apparently never played for the twins.
  11. What are Ramirez’s numbers against us? Ready for him to retire.
  12. Lol what’s that, like 2 for the last 57 times it’s worked
  13. Now the umpire screws us, just for good measure.
  14. I think the foul home run by Ramirez spooked him. Of course, it wouldn’t have happened had correa lined up properly
  15. No? It was an in general comment. The guy shouldn’t even have been out there considering he’s now allowed 7 of 9 inherited runners to score. But I’m not sure I’ve seen anything in many years to think that we’re well coached. This last week has been a marvelous example.
