  1. Pretty clear to me that the nfc north is the toughest division in football
  2. Sure glad we get to play the afc south this year
  3. About the 5th time by count
  4. They didn’t gopher it up, looks like
  5. The college game is a tough watch. The officiating is questionable at best. I have no idea what constitutes a catch at this level, apparently
  6. Gophers have some exciting players for the first time in a good couple of years
  7. The ucla defense is like bottom of the big ten and the gophers offense can do nothing
  8. Gophers getting worked. I guess the classical music PJ played at practice this week didn’t help
  9. This is one of those games you could see being a letdown. Everyone still excited about last week. West coast trip. Lesser opponent
  10. I know there’s a gophers thread on the “other sports” forum, but it’s had like a page of posts over the last year or so. Maybe it’ll get more action here. Gophers at UCLA right now. Commentator starts the night with “for the first time since 1962, the gophers enter rose bowl stadium”
  11. I like trying for the onside. If you don’t get it you can still call the timeouts. A (successful) FG makes it 8 points. A miss and you’ve got it near midfield. One first down beats you either way
  12. Ha and then they don’t even stop em on first down. I would’ve kicked
  13. How do you not kick onside there ?
  14. Man even the coach looks like he could be coaching in the 90s. Who was their coach then? Dennis Erickson I think
  15. Backbreaking INT liking the old Seattle uniforms. Back when they stunk
  16. Seattle down 13-0 at home against San Fran. They had a brief second there where everyone was believing their hype. Still could come back but this would be 3 straight losses
  17. You think the twins would have tried and executed that safety squeeze the guardians just did? 😂
  18. Knew the padres were going to be trouble back when we played them in SD. That place gets electric
  19. It’s still amazing that Doug pederson and Nick Foles completely wiped the floor with us. It’s incomprehensible, really, given their career body of work. Then again, they’d probably say the same about zimmer and keenum
  20. Why couldn’t you? 10 teams for 2 weeks then 12. . Or even 2 weeks with 16 and 16. 2 is the fairest. And I remember they used to do the entire division on the same week. Every team in the north has it a different week. The packers don’t have theirs til November 10. Just odd for a league that tries to be fair with most things, they wouldn’t with this. 5 weeks difference is huge when the injuries start piling up. I’m sure the league wouldn’t want to have 2-3 light weeks of cour$e
  21. I know he got a hit but were these guys on FS1 really talking about walking Harper with 2 on and a 6 run lead with 2 outs? Glad AJ set them straight.
  22. Can I also say I despise having this early of a bye. And it started last week with teams on byes. NFL should limit them to like week 8-10 for all teams. Asking a team to play 4 games upfront and 13 on the back end is insane. Can’t believe the NFLPA allowed that
  23. My money is on sirianni going possibly first
