  1. I heard somewhere before the last draft that Brady Aiken's potential was being compared to Cole Hamels. I think he'd sign for 4 million especially since he's coming off Tommy John surgery and he'd take the money he can get. In my opinion Aiken has the best potential out of everyone we could get in this draft, so I'm definitely rooting for Aiken.
  2. Honestly if they brought it Neil Allen to work with a bunch of veteran starters they are wasting their time. I have no doubt he can help the veterans, but his forte is working with the young guys. They're not going to make Tommy Milone any better of a pitcher, he just throws outside because his stuff is bad. They can help Meyer or May become better pitchers.
  3. Gilmartin might not be a hard thrower or the most spectacular pitcher ever, but he is valuable in that the Twins don't have a lot of Left-handed starters. Losing two of them in the Rule V could leave them pretty thin if they don't get Gilmartin back (which they probably will).
  4. I'm in favor of signing Brett Anderson and Kris Medlen. When Medlen he was healthy for the Braves he was lights out. Signing him to a short deal is worth a shot because no body on our staff has strikeout ability like him. Anderson did pretty well for Colorado in the short time he was with them last year. That's a really tough park to play in and if he did well there he could probably do well here.
