    Huge!
  2. Ultima Ratio
I maybe remember seeing it twice last year, maybe... so no.
  3. Ultima Ratio
Listening to the Os broadcast: Blamed Plouffe for crowding the plate, that the pitch was "barely off the plate." Interesting. I saw the ball inside the batters box or on the chalk at least.

    Thanks.
  5. Ultima Ratio
No, surely we would have seen it by now.
  6. Ultima Ratio
I don't get it. You are given a strike call on a 2 seamer off the plate and come back with a 4 seam right down the middle. Locate.
  7. Ultima Ratio
I can't remember, does Hendriks have a slider?
  8. Ultima Ratio
    Well Arrieta looks sharp....gulp.
  9. Ultima Ratio
Does Parm have one option left?
  10. Ultima Ratio
Maybe a good comparison would be Garrett Jones and a similar position for the Twins with 1B belonging to Morneau (for a couple more months anyway). If Parm turns into a Jone-type MLB player at 1B, is that enough? Jones has a career MLB OPS of .785

Gardy virtually running out the same, opening day lineup 4 games straight. <<<knees getting wobbly>>>

****, I had to run errands with the Mrs. and missed the 8th and 9th. Guess I'll have to stay away more often. Never would imagine a series win over the Tigers, never. Let the good times roll....
  13. Ultima Ratio
Fine by me to put Hicks in the 9 hole if his woes continue -- but only as long as Carroll is starting a batting #1.
  14. Ultima Ratio
    Wow. Parm. Easy guy.
  15. Ultima Ratio
Glunn, Very similar approach and results as KC yesterday.
  16. Ultima Ratio
Hammer on pace for 54 homers. In all seriousness, the ball must really be dead in the air. That homer didn't clear by much and was hit on the screws.
  17. Ultima Ratio
Hammer!!!! Good thing Mauer is batting second!
  18. Ultima Ratio
Hicks hasn't even made contact (fouled off) with an off speed pitch yet, I believe.
  19. Ultima Ratio
That was bound to happen, and happen many more times.
  20. Ultima Ratio
    It's his 2-seamer
  21. Ultima Ratio
So after the blown save the tigers signed Valverde to a minor league contract.
  22. Ultima Ratio
No worries, Pelfry will strike out the side. (optimism)
  23. Ultima Ratio
Will we see the obligatory get away/get some reps roster tomorrow? I'd bet Doumit catches, Mauer DH, Carroll and Escobar starting and perhaps Mastro for Parm if no longer injured.
  24. Ultima Ratio
I take that back. Go TWINS!!!
  25. Ultima Ratio
Now is where you should have Carroll pinch hit for Escobar!!!
