  7. Pregame with Gray Duck Vodka, Tom’s Watch Party, & the Twins Daily Social Club The Twins Daily Social Club’s official position is that the Home Opener should be a state holiday. To put our money where our mouth is, we’re teaming up with Gray Duck Vodka and Tom’s Watch Bar to throw a pregame party before the Twins' home opener. (Whether that home opener is Thursday or is delayed until Friday.) Gray Duck is bringing their vodka for you to sample. You want specifics? Show up. Maybe it’s their seltzer. Maybe they’re making Bomba Juice cocktails. Maybe it’s their new Muddled vodka. Maybe it’s all three. You’ll need to show up and let you liver sort it out later. Your drinks might even be given to you by Vikings' legend Chad Greenway. He’ll be stopping by because there is much more going on, but we’ll detail all that tomorrow. For now, just start making a plan. The party starts at 11 AM on Thursday (or Friday) at Tom’s Watch Bar, the new downtown sports bar that has TVs everywhere and is just three blocks from Target Field. Get there early if you want a seat; Twins Daily Social Club’s Opening Day Watch Party last week drew over 300(!) Twins fans. While they all had a great time, some of them probably would have liked to rest their feet. We’ll see you there. And we’ll see you back here tomorrow as we detail what Twins Daily and Tom’s has in store for everyone. View full article

  16. We’re just two days away from real baseball again, and you better believe we’re celebrating. Today we can release that Sotastick is joining the party. You’ll be able to purchase their unique Minnesota-centric sports-themed apparel at Twins Daily Social Club’s Watch Party at Forgotten Star. Plus, they’ll be raffling off several more prizes during the Watch Party as well. This is on top of the great stuff we wrote about yesterday from Forgotten Star. Not only will you get a free beer, but there will be a first pitch raffle for a $25 gift card, a $100 gift card for the last out, and a BOGO pint for a future visit at the end of the game. We’ll also be watching the Twins kick off their season visiting the Kansas City Royals. But be aware the game starts at 3:00 and will likely be over by 6:00 with the new pitch clock. So don’t waste any time. Also, no need to preregister. Just show up and bring your friends. Or make new ones as we cheer on the Twins. The only way we could make this more Minnesota-themed would be to add a meat raffle – so that’s exactly what we’re doing. Stop back again tomorrow as we give details on all the beef that Grote Beef is bringing to the party, too. 18. Three days until baseball is back, along with a free beer and much more. You won't need a ticket, but you’ll want to make a plan! We have three days until Twins Daily Social Club’s Watch Party at Forgotten Star. We already told you about the free beer, but to reiterate – your first beer is on us. You don’t even need a ticket. Just show up, check in, and grab your free beer from among their dozen or styles. But that’s not all. Get there early, because we’ll also be doing a drawing at first pitch that includes a $25 gift card from Forgotten Star! (Plus some delicious steaks but more on that later this week.) As a reminder, that first pitch will be around 3:00, so ask grandma and grandpa to pick up the kids. Or let your coworkers know you need to buzz out early. But even if you can’t get there early, you’ll want to join us, because Forgotten Star is also throwing in a $100 gift card for our “last out” raffle. With baseball’s new pitch clock, that could happen as early as 5:30, so don’t delay in heading over straight from work.
