  1. Jarvis graduted from the high school where I currently teach.
  2. Buxton is the #1 culprit. At least Correa is playing decent defense. It's not his fault they continue to bat him at the top end of the lineup. Correa should be hitting 7-9 with those awful numbers. Buck has spent most of the season costing us two roster spots as we have witnessed absudly prolonged slumps over and over again with Michael Talyor forced out of the reserve roll which was intended. The #3 spot in the lineup has been the least productive position in the Twins lineup - Buck / 134AB with an OPS of .580. That's embarrassing. Plus, If he can't play in the field then he shouldn't be running the bases. It's counter productive to the team and his recovery. Ending his season right now seems like the best option for everyone involved.
  3. Buxton holds the Twins career IL record with 13 visits by his 9th year, before the age 30. The record surpassed was 10 IL visits during the 15 year career of the much maligned Joe Mauer. Buck has also emassed 1 career playoff hit.
  4. Pagan's last four outings v Cleveland. 2 and 1/3 innings, 7 hits, 3 walks and 10 runs given up. Rocco often shows loyalty to his players which in itself is abmirable, but this recent display is becoming beyond ridiculous at this point. It's flashbacks to Alex Colome in 2021. Rocco...end the 2.0 version of the great 'ball man' experiment now before you begin your career as a townball manager.
  5. Trade Buxton? Sorry but I have to laugh. Does it get any more myopic than that.(rhetorical)
  6. Say what you want about Nunez being a "Bad" All-Star, but I would take him on my 2016 Fantasy team any day.
  7. The t-wolves have a nice blog called - A Wolf Among Wolves - check it out when you get the chance.
  8. Great article! My first Met experience was camera day 1975 when I was 11. One of my pictures was with Dave Goltz, who later became my college baseball coach.
