  1. I'd extend Dozier, love the way he plays and he seems like a very marketable player on team that needs several. He had me at the camp suit. As far as Willingham I'd keep him around on a one year deal and assume a Thome role (DH/PH). The compensation must reflect this role. Suzuki I would extend two years if the salary is reasonable 2 years 10/12 million. Morales no, Correa no, Fein no, and for Plouffe nothing beyond year-to-year at this point.
  2. Typical passive aggressive MN talk. I'd almost prefer this talk versus most standard drivel that usually comes out. On a side note how do you guys feel about Gardy's post game pressers? Open enough? To me he is almost Bill Belichekequske at times.
  3. Hopefully we can trade off several veterans this year. Morales, Correia, and perhaps Willingham. However, I'm inclined to keep Suzuki. I recall from an earlier post that the free agency catcher options are very underwhelming next year. If he signs for a modest 2 year extension say in the 10-12 range or maybe one year plus a team option I would not complain. With several young pitchers coming up in the next year of so I believe the veteran backstop would be a wise investment. Even if he ends up backing up Pinto next year I still feel he's a wise investment.
  4. Thanks for taking me back to 2010. Fun season. This post is a great reminder of the utter average to below average pitching talent given to us from Mr Smith GM. I fondly remember listening to KFAN and having Paul Allen refer to Jon Rausch as "neck tattoo". Classic.
