  1. I know he was safe, but it was close because he almost didn't have his foot on the bag. If the MLB wants to increase action on the bases, which it appears they do, they need to change the stolen base rule. If the runner beats the tag, he's safe, even if his foot or hand come off the bag for half a second.
  2. Gordon!!! Nice play in the field and a nice rip!
  3. MAX!!!!!!!! He needed that more than anyone on the team! Lets go!
  4. Good start by Pineda...Simmons is so fun to watch field
  5. This is a fun little exercise...thought I'd try to put my own together. I went back to the 2014 season and allowed myself to pick anyone who played at least 20 games over that time. C: Kurt Suzuki, Jason Castro 1B: CJ Cron 2B Jonathan Schoop, Marwin Gonzalez SS: Ehire Adrianza 3rd: Eduardo Escobar LF: Eddie Rosario CF: Aaron Hicks, Lamonte Wade Jr RF: Robbie Grossman DH: Logan Morrison SP: Lance Lynn SP: Kyle Gibson SP: Rich Hill SP: Jake Odorizzi SP: Tommy Milone RP: Trevor May RP: Ervin Santana RP: Ryne Harper RP: Brandon Kintzler RP: Ryan Pressly RP: Matt Wisler RP: Sergio Romo
  6. This team just isn’t good. Buxton is an MVP level player. Donaldson and Cruz are both very good players. Arraez gives a great at bat. Kenta, berrios, and big mike are all above average rotation guys. But after that, this team is just bleak. Kepler has taken a big step back, and polanco even farther. Simmons has been as advertised, but isn’t fixing the lineup. The bullpen isn’t good at all, and the starters can’t or aren’t given the opportunity to go deep into games. That’s not a recipe for winning baseball games. I don’t know what the fix is, and there very well may not be one. At this point we might have to take what we can for Kepler, polanco, garver, and sano at the deadline and hope that the next group of AK, Larnach, and Lewis can do what this current one has failed at.
  7. Nick Gordon has to start at 2nd tomorrow
  8. We might not be thanking god for the Tigers come Sunday
  9. Leadoff baserunner again...and nothing.
  10. Nice to see Colome bounce back a bit. Not high leverage, but got some swings and misses. Even the single was hit weak
  11. Another leadoff runner on base that doesn't score...Can't make this up. The Rangers have one of the worst collection of arms in the league.
  12. Leadoff double...ground out to the left side, ground out to the left side...strikeout. Sigh. This team is flat and needs a drastic change.
  13. I will give the FO credit for Kyle Garlick..he fits his role of hitting left handers perfectly. Maybe the only move around the margin that they've hit on this year.
  14. Sano's diving stop keeps this game within striking distance. Twins need to show some fight and come back in this one, but I'm not holding my breath.
  15. The Stashak we saw last year is long, long gone. Not a major league reliever right now.
  16. MIGGY! Wow. Gold glove play right there
  17. Sigh. This is going as expected. Not scoring with bases loaded and no outs is pathetic. We don't deserve to be competitive pulling stunts like that
  18. Polanco has been poor in the field today
