The Duke the character, not the actor. (and i thought i was funny not specifyin') In the comic opera Patience by Gilbert and Sullivan. And stuff seems to be happening in the game whilst i type... Good stuff.
As the Duke said: "Yes, and toffee in moderation is a capital thing. But to live on toffee - toffee for breakfast, toffee for dinner, toffee for tea - to have it supposed that you care for nothing but toffee, and that you would consider yourself insulted if anything but toffee were offered to you - how would you like that?"
With the game immanent, i figured i'd note the deviation from standard line-upage... Fryer gets the call in relief of Suzuki. How's he gonna pan out? Will he... Control the run game? Circle the bases? Call a good one? Pass the ball?(Er. Same bat time... Same bat channel)
Last 15 seconds are silent (which seems fine, it's purpose bein' to get ya to buy the song)
Oh, and thumbs up on the signature...
My dad had a story about his only mistake on a test once being to reverse the numerator and denominator of a fraction. The instructor (professor?) gave him a C on it. Upon inquiry, he got told if he ever came up with a probability greater than 1 again, he'd fail.
Anyhow, hope the movin' stuffs go smoothly!
I didn't realize it had words. My original exposure to the song was spike jones' version, which i think was instrumental. Alas i cannot find it on the youtubes, but was pleasantly surprised by professor gizmo's version of it. And by his beany coptor. (today, lazy beats out the attaching of media as i'm still waking up.... mmm, breakfast!)
Concur. Bark has made art proud. Those o' you with strong feelin's, is this better (or at least more acceptable) than the Olsen twins? The nightmares are gone?
I missed that... (or the edit, i wasn't payin' attention.) um... hard to say with a literary quote. Book it is in? Probably. But if you read it by kindle, perhaps not. And i feel okay leavin' it be, as the phrase "forgotten the face of his father" on google brings it up pretty quick. And as for movie, there's a fan made short film on youtube i just watched with the quote in it. So i guess i was wrong there...
Yes... (or is it okay if i don't adhere strictly to the rules of 20 questions) It is a literary reference from a long series (7 books last i checked) by an extraordinarily prolific author. Slightly oblique... as it referred originally to something which wasn't batting.
Oh yeah, workin' 9-5 cbu. Detroit scored when Twins couldn't finish a double play with runners at the corners. And i was wondering, with words like detox, delay, deflower, deflate, what was removed to make Detroit?
