Carlos Correa was a great shortstop. That is about all. His RBI total and run production was very poor for where he batted in the lineup, but that could be said of Wallner, Castro and a few others. The fact that he was making so much money was the main reason he had to go elsewhere. If the Twins don't invest that 90 million dollars to bring a better product on the field, there is no doubt that fans will start not showing up at Target Field. I really don't like the Twin's brand of baseball right now. As a team they rarely hit and run, bunt, or try and steal bases. We stole third base for the first time this season last week! Buxton hasn't been thrown out all year and has never stole 3rd base. I believe all this points to the manager or front office and maybe they now realize that the game isn't just analytics. The Brewers are a model to look at just one state away. Hopefully, there is a potential owner out there that really likes baseball and wants to put a great product out there. The Twins have, for the most part, a proud fan base. The proof is there as recently as the playoff wins over Toronto. I also believe since Rocco has been the manager, spring training has become too much of a country club. Players are making more money than ever, let's hold them accountable by learning and teaching the fundamentals that seem to be lacking.
