    Yeah, thanks. It's on our agenda for sure. I'd really love to spend some time down south too.

    Indoor. Baku is ok. It's really expensive. There is a definite division of wealth. I enjoyed the people, and they were pretty curious about me. It feels like a culture with growing pains, and experiences some of the awkwardness that goes with it. She actually asked for and got her release from her Azerbaijani team, and is now with a team just outside of Venice. They are in second place with 2 matches left. She is guaranteed to make the playoffs for the first time in her career, so we are heading back out in a couple weeks.

    Actually I have been to Israel, but it was fly in, went to a basketball game, then partied at some restaurant, then flew out. It wasn't the experience I would have liked.

    Game threads are built for derailment. No, we live in St Paul, but we have been following our eldest daughter's volleyball career. She's on the National team, but plays pro in the off-season. We've been headquartered in Tokyo, Rome, and Baku Azerbaijan, so far. From there, we just take the plunge and see whatever we can. We are hoping she will sign with a Japanese team again sometime. I definitely need another winter there.

    Wow, how great is that. My wife and I have been globetrotting for the last 3 years. We haven't done the middle east yet. I'm envious.
