    Kirloff is hoping that would be the case but that might not be the case. balldelli says "Setting health aside for a minute, whoever's the better defensive first baseman is going to play more at first base,” so I assume this means Santana will play more time at first while kirloff will play more DH. Because Kirloff has -8 OAA. While Santan has 2 OAA. Balldeli also said Kirloff might get some more time in The outfield. There's also probably only room for 1 of them vs a LHP. Balldeli says when the time comes they will figure it out. He also says ,” Baldelli said. “Both are going to end up playing a good amount of first base, but the guy that is going to do the best job for us on that side of the ball is the one that's going to play more". So in conclusion I think this offense would be really good and also I'm really glad we signed Santana. I think it was a good dedication by the Twins. View full rumor

    1 Pablo Lopez 2 Joe Ryan 3 Baily Ober 4 Anthony Desclafani 5 Chris Paddack I think this rotation would be one of the best in the Major Leauges. Because of course we had Pablo Lopez. who had 2 remarkable starts in the postseason last year. He had a whopping 1.53 E.R.A with 17 strikeouts and a 2-1 record. Also in the regular season he had a 3.66 E.R.A. He was the 2nd in the American Leauge strikeouts with 234 strikeouts with a 1.15 Whip. Also 1 complete game shut out. Also led the MLB in quality starts. He definitely deserved to be a Cy- young candidate. Also he was a top pitcher definitely the ace of our staff. Also he is a good person a good leader. and good for team morale. For Joe Ryan he was a 1st half hero until he got injured in the 2nd half of the season. Also wasnt that good in the 2nd half. But he's all healthy now and will probably be a lot better this season. Last year he had a 4.51 E.R.A. But he had a better E.R.A and he had a whopping 1.17 W.H.I.P wich is only 2 less then our Ace Pablo Lopez. And he was looking like he was going to be an all star before he got injured also he had 1 really good complete game shutout. So yeah if he can be better this season he can really be good in the two spot. Even tho Bailey Ober Chocked in the postseason. He was really great in the regular season with a 3.63 E.R.A and a 1.07 W.H.I.P wich is better then our Ace Pablo and Joe Ryan. So yeah he'd be a really great addition to our rotation and to be along side Joe Ryan and Pablo Lopez. Our recently acquired pitcher from Seattle in the past has been really really good with a 4.88 E.R.A and a 1.25 W.H.I.P. Wich isn't really the best. But in my opinion it would be really disrespectful to palanco if we didn't use him and hey let's just give him a chance Paddack had many great appearances of relief after Tommy Jhon surgery in 2023. Even tho he was bad with his E.R.A and W.H.I.P I think he is going to be really good in 2024. Plus he is only 28. So in conclusion I honestly think we could win a lot with this staff. Also this might be one of the best in the Major leauges.

    Honestly I think they should sign Pete Alanso in 2025 next year because he is really good and santanas only on a 1 year deal if we signed Alanso to a 3 year 150 million dollar deal that could probably work keeping us over our salary cap so we could have alanso as our full time 1st baseman and have Kirloff as out back up 1st baseman still keeping him and playing him even tho Santana has proved himself in spring training so far santana will be 38 and alanso will be only 30 last year 2023 alanso drove in 118 runs and had 48 homeruns we need more power hitters because Buxtons always injured corneas on a cold streak tho I think he will do better next year Lewis is also injured alot even tho they're healthy now just wait even tho they're my favorite players but they get injured alot so he would really be a good addition. With the young guys and kepler Correa and Buxton so the lineup could be something like Julien buxton Lewis alanso Correa kepler lee jeffers Wallner and that would be a Dominint lineup also to my earlier posts we could have lee as our dh next year that's when he will be ready and that's probably when we need him also we can trade kirloff so yeah I think this would work out really good.

    There is one short answer and that answer is yes. We could use a backup 2nd baseman this year and there is a chance of him winning rookie of the year. last year he slashed 2.75/ 3.55/ 8.14 wich are great numbers for a minor leaguer. also he is 23 years old wich is older than Royce Lewis when he first came to the big leagues. Also he has been really good lately in spring training scoring some RBIs and he was meant to be good even tho the twins will never agree to this this year he is meant to be in a Twins uniform he also he is really good because last season in 501 at bats he scored 83 runs had a 138 hits hit 16 home runs had 84 RBI and 7 stolen bases so yeah he is definitely meant to be in a twins uniform if the twins would ever call him up.
