  1. Its too late to plan otherwise but I see him as a 6 7 or 8 hitter. Buxton Keaschall Roden Bell Caratini Outman Wallner Lewis Lee
  2. And the Astros just signed Vasquez 😭
  3. That's true about the offense being unable to recover, but sheesh. Passed ball, slow roller and the wheels fall off. If you discount Zebby who's honestly left though? Raya Morris and Prielipp are nowhere near ready, for what we have seen. Better hope Joe and Bailey are ok to go. Abel and Taj are pretty locked in as 3 and 4 in my mind. If Zebby isn't a bottom of the rotation starter I guess. SWR has it by default.
  4. Zebby just has mental breakdowns on the mound far too often and the game quickly gets away. With the defense we have we can't afford that.
  5. He don't do slumps.. we'll be ok. 😉 I appreciate these Moment in time reports for those of us who don't get to every box score. The fact that two starters had positive impact this weekend (and SWR looked better too, finally) and Joe Ryan will be on the mound this week gives hope. The Buxton HBP heard round the world still gives me pause..
  6. If we can ditch Jeffers and Larnach for something fair Now's the time before all spring training games have film available.
  7. I guess we'll see when the next cut comes but Walnach hasn't shown too much. I'm waiting to see if Buck is in tonight's USA lineup.. I have read and agree that Tristan Gray will likely be on the team. I know they said he's fine but you know ..
  8. I wonder if he's considering keeping one of the rookies in the roster (or if the brain trust will even allow that) such as Gonzalez, Rodriguez, or Culpeper?
  9. It would seem. Abel cemented a spot in the lineup further.
  10. Another quality outing for Abel. Is Wagaman a long-term roster part? Interesting Gabby Gonzalez is in at DH too.
  11. Hope he's fine.. you just knew the TC jinx would continue.
  12. Seeing Buxton get plunked tonight with the sacks full didn't help matters. He's remained in the game for now
  13. Well Ober looked.. like Ober. Take it how you will .
  14. I was stuck on It's Right Two Times A Day. Then I figured it out.. and Lee still looking for a hit!
  15. Preseason but it feels good like the Julien game at Yankee Stadium in 2O23 felt good.
  16. Can we pocket and use some of these runs again in April..
  17. Whoops hope Kriedler is ok.
  18. While not every move is smooth, I 'understand' Shelton's lineups. Now we know Brooks Lee isn't a leadoff guy..
  19. Yeesh Brooks. Frozen in place by the A pitcher. His failures keep setting the table for Keaschall
  20. I still like Roden but it's a good problem to have. Still think trading Larnach would make a lot of sense
  21. Taj is effectively wild today. Four innings again but a nice lead even in spring training makes it easier. And while Buxton isn't there Aaron Judge isn't either. I see Lee leading off as they're looking for a leadoff guy when Buck sits. I guess Keaschall and maybe Roden and Martin (laugh.. in) but not Brooks Lee.
  22. Lee is stinking up the leadoff spot
  23. I notice and approve how Alan Roden has suddenly been shuffled into the Rosario Gabby Culpeper Emmy deck.of cards.. almost like we lucked out in the trade last year. 😎
