I could probably pull-out quotes from other Twins' players from the past. One also has to put quotes in context. "How the hell can you play here". Quote from famous Cooperstown Twin Hall of Fame player being negative... I can come up with loads of negative quotes from players in the Twins Hall of fame. Let's hope Lewis can turn it around and not be a flash in the pan.
One only needs to look at many teams to discover that injuries are prevalent throughout MLB. Until Lewis can show that he is not prone to injury, it would be a mistake to offer him a long-term contract. It is unfortunate that his injuries have been his detriment. He has such an upbeat personality. I question if a 10-day injury list is enough and would not be surprised if his return takes place after the all-star break., He may be a player who is just susceptible to injury and will never be a star which would be unfortunate. I hope not. Fingers crossed.
Well, the Royals lost, Tigers won, Guardians have a late game. It is incredible that the Twins have held on to 2nd place during their horrible record lately. I can't believe that they are on the verge of permitting another 10-run game. That would make it 4 out of the last 8 games. I have been following them since 1965 and can never recall this type of run permittance. UUGGHH...
I will reiterate a prior posting.
Declan Goff from the Minnesota Twins Score North podcast reported today that Ober received a death threat. Baseball is a sport, and this type of behavior is utterly deplorable.

I am curious if the Twins set a record in permitting over ten runs scored in a 7-game period. They lost 14-3 on June 5, 16-4 on June 10 and 16-3 today. That is 46 total runs....WOW!
another blow out.??...if the Rangers score 10...it will make it 3 out of 7 games where the opposing teams have scored double figures...UFF DAA....That may make a record
In Sac last week....people on the grass would yell in unison each time "your cap fell off."...He actually was wearing a different type of cap...it looked like he had powder on it....
This guy really is slim...he looks like a stick when you see him in person. So glad that he has bounced back after the last disaster. They need him as I am really nervous about SWR.
