    I found one item interesting when reviewing the team stats. Clemens has been an interesting pick-up. Despite a low BA of 216...his other stats have been superb. He is 3rd in HRs, 2nd OPS, 2nd SLG, and 10th in hits with just 142 at bats which is half the number of ABs than many of the players. Not bad....hope he keeps up that pace...

    Buxton hitting through the cycle brought me back to a date in my memory almost 40 years ago. It was August 1, 1986, and I was fortunate to be in attendance to watch Kirby Puckett accomplish the feat in the Metrodome. Additionally, a BIG bonus was watching Bert toss his 3,000th strikeout. Buck, Kirby is giving you thumbs up from above along with that unforgettable big smile.
