    As the song goes, "You gotta have hope;" Dodger stadium is an odd iconic old stadium. I believe it is the third oldest stadium after the Red Sox and Cubs. Well, the Dodgers don't have permanent umps.

    WELL...Twins will get to see their former teammate Kyle Farmer today... I will be in LA for the games on Tuesday and Wednesday. I was hoping to see California born Ryan pitch, but he is set for Sunday. It probably will be Paddack on Wednesday. Ohtani may be up on Monday or Tuesday. The Twins had better be well prepared. Dodger fans can be boisterous and Tuesday night is a Teoscaro Hernandez Bobblehead night. The Dodgers give away more bobbleheads than any team....they have 12 scheduled for the second half of the season. Nevertheless, I would so very much enjoy watching them take at least 2 from the Dodgers.

    Well, they could probably get rid of Wallner (.299 OBP) and a few others including Lewis (,299 OBP) Lee (,290) who are doing worse than Clemens (,302 OBP) if that is the case. If he performs well the rest of the season, he deserves to be on the roster for 2026 in my view. The team has won several games due to Clemens' home runs while playing in just over half the total games this half season. Let's hope they all do well the remainder of the season ... Let's start with the ROCKIES on Friday night ⚾

    His batting average may not be great but check out his HR total as well as his SLG and OPS. He is near the top. My feeling is that he should be considered to receive a contract extension if he does well the rest of the season. If Castro departs, Clemens could be useful at many positions next year. He has done well at first, can play second as well as the outfield. The team should be careful pulling up individuals from St. Paul unless they know that the playoffs look bleak or injuries take place. Raya may be an exception. Also, Keaschall should be back soon.
