Pretty clear he was out, but hey why ever reverse a call.

Overall a horribly played game by Toronto. I'll take all these walks once the season starts but in the Spring they're just annoying.

Another case of the call on the field being more important then what the replay showed. I wasn't 100% sure he was out but I was more then 75%

Inconclusive the call on the field stands, First down.

I wish Gardenhire was at this game, it makes no sense but I feel like he would go nuts when this call is reversed.

Just paused it at the exact perfect moment. Theres no way instant replay can help on a play like that. Granted there are enough amazingly horrible calls to make replay worth it.

Toronto should challenge that call at first on the double play. Looked safe.

True, but in the case of split squad games half of them are being played inside of boxscores on the internet which will probably be printed on paper in the morning.

Yeah it hit glove, but if they give a hit when the fielder never sees it hard to give an error when the fielder finds it and gives as good of an effort as he could at that point. I don't understand for the pitchers sake why thats not considered a team error though.

By opinion after watching a split squad version of this team for 4 and a half inning. Theres a chance it could take 5 or 6 games, but we will win the World Series.

Gibson gets credit for giving up a hit on a pop fly lost in the sun follows it up by a double play and a strikeout. Great inning.

Another solid out by Hicks driving in a run. 3 solid at bats.

Twins take 1-0 lead against Baltimore on Wilken Ramirez second singe. Must of made an out on the play as the inning ended.

The nice thing is he hit.243 last year so even improving to just .280 should win us an extra game or 2.

Hicks will leadoff again in 2nd, glad to see it. If he gets his confidence going he can be an impact player this year.

2 clean innings by Worley in the other game. Gave up a double to Markakis and had 2 strikeouts.

Could have been ball 4 pitch was up around the letters, just missed clearing the bases though.

Had Romero? 0-2 4 straight balls and we have a pitching change 2 solid hits and 4 walks and a pop out.

Agreed but it felt like he was going to be out by 15-20 feet. 3 walks in the last 4 batters get this guy off the mound. Bases loaded.

Probably not a good idea for Hicks to try to score with nobody out, very slopply defense from the leftfielder slight bobble double clutch and bad throw, a clean play and he's probably out.

Hicks should bat leadoff all spring. If somehow he is a .180 hitter in spring at the leadoff spot, thats good information for management to have. If he would be a .280 hitter batting 7th this year theres a good chance he would be a .280 hitter leading off. As horrible as the #'s looked last year, he showed a lot of good signs. We might have Buxton waiting behind him, but Aaron Hicks should be a huge part of this teams future.
