Heh... That's a great list, Stringer. My first Twins fan year was the '65 series team, when I was in Mrs. Loerch's 1st grade class. Zoilo was my favorite player. I remember the old timers talking about the 'TC' on the caps standing for Twenty Cubans....

Such sad news, for the Twins, the fans, and of course, Miguel. But somewhere deep in Florida, Trevor Plouffe heaves a sigh of relief....

Yeh, I think signing Garza and moving Correia would be a blessed event. But I do have to tell you how I managed to pass milk through my nose at your outstanding screen name-- even though I was drinking Boddy's at the time....

First off, Seth- no need to apologize for focusing more on the Kernels than the big club. It's been far more interesting to follow the doings on the farm than in the Cities this year. And last year. And the year before that. And probably the next couple of years, too.... But I'm in total agreement. From years of rugby, ice hockey, and boxing, I've been on the end of a few of those. When you have that much of an investment in a part of your team- THE major part of your team, you don't take chances with his health, or even his life. It's not like we're anywhere close to playoff hunt. Besides, I'm sure they're spouting that line to keep selling what few tickets they can at this point. Please, TR, please RG, shut the guy down.

Swarzak deserves a shot next season. I mean, what could it hurt? Provided he stays out of the wrestling ring this winter...

Wow, congrats to the Red Wings for hanging in there, and best of luck to them and the other affiliates in the playoffs. And many thanks to you, Seth, for posting all the updates and interesting news all year. It's been the one shaft of sunlight in the dark forest of yet another brutal year.

Yes, please. Start the Mr. Coffee and get him up here. Just so sick of watching Plouffe fumble around out there. Fumbling around at 3rd can be tolerated if the bat makes up for it, but...... whew.

I like the guy's moxie. Back in May, against the Tigers he threw a couple of close ones that Miggy and Torii both barked at him for. He just didn't give a ****. That's my guy out of the bullpen these days....

Glad to have found this place. I live and work in China these days, so far away from my ND roots, and Twinkie-country. But it's great to read some worthwhile and in-depth info, and keep tabs on the farm system, too. A much better job done here than on the useless "official" sites. Cheers, guys, and keep it up.
