    Listening to the radio when the game started, they said Kwan was in a 1-15 streak; it seems playing the Twins is good for breaking slumps.

    It is only here that inuries are the fault of Lewis' failure, a, good cover for lack of talent; Kirilloff, his genes not did give him a chassis made for baseball. Worrying about it does not do either or him or you any good.

    So what? Wallner's OPS+ now is 48. Clemens is playing now, and improving, that is what counts is now. so all the peeing and moaning that Clemens is playing, is silly.. He is not a gaping hole in the defense.

    What big bat? That is not Wallner. Wallner looks like Gallo's worst years without the good glove Gallo had.

    I listened to a few innings on the radio while heading up to Detroit Lakes; the announcers were giddy that Keaschall and Wallner gots hit, of course they said - If this is the start of them improving .... as if they could save the team; although one said of Wallner, - after going 0-19 it is a start.. That Clemens has improved, seems to annoy some here.

    Intestinal fortitude - LOL, - You are delusional if you think that term has any thing to do with some here peeing and moaning like spoiled youth not getting what they want in their in infantile wisdom. REAL- to use you poorly chosen term - fans go to or watch games because win or lose they truly enjoy the game. There are , low points worth grumbling about, along with high points worth celebrating, but they do not ramble on and on, with tautological rhetoric from their - all knowing wisdom - of how things should - properly - be/have been - done. To each his own.

    Why Wallner has not been sent down is a bit of a mystery, unless they are waiting for his batting average to drop below .100. His K rate is now 37 percent.

    To give Jeffers some credit, his caught stealing percentage has more than double in the past two weeks.

    Keaschall, Lee and Lewis are abysmal players with the glove, but the Twins have used defense extras to spot fix that problem in close games, in the past. It would be nice if they brought Kreidler up, sent lewis and Keaschall down to St.Paul but that - Might - improve their bats but using Julien as an example , the iron gloves rarely go away. It took a long time before Julien's gaping whole at Second was removed and as you said, St.Paul has no players better, with the exception of Kreidler, and maybe Culpepper. In the next month things might change but right now pitching is the major problem so glove work is probably not a big deal on the FO's mind.

    It is amazing how so many here, no matter who, are like bovines who always prefer the grass on the other side of the fence. To them the Twins are not the team representing them in MLB, they act like souteneurs for whom the player are merely courtesans to be used and dumped willy-nilly for monetary reasons.
