I just bought the package... Annnd then I noticed the Tin Whiskers date is my wedding anniversary. Hm. Are these trade-able? If so, anyone want to swap a date so I can take my spouse with me 6/27?

Hands down this is my favorite threads of the year. Thanks for posting all this up for us!

We were there in '13 and had a wonderful time. My kid had his first taste of beer (see avatar), I clearly remember my sister asking "is that guy's name seriously Oswaldo?", and there is just nothing like spring training baseball after a long MN winter. I'm really enjoying the Hammond happenings thread and we hope to get back there soon.

Shooooot. Dear Universe, I take back one bad thing I've said about Joe Mauer. That was fun.

I saw this last night & I'm happy for the guy. I think I read a story last winter about him turning down a chance to play somewhere else (Japan, maybe?) this year but turned it down because he wanted to give MLB another shot. I hope he sticks, too.

Dang. Spoke too soon. Based on this effort by Nolasco I'm mad about Santana all over again.

Just tuned in for the last out. Sheesh. I don't know how 3 in and 3 on came to be, but at least we're not down by 6.
