The odds of getting a pick are weighted in favor of those teams with more losses. One very interesting thing is these picks can be traded. I'm eager to see how many of these picks get included in trades.

    I never saw the word "embiggen" used on a website until I came to Twins Daily. I don't know why; it's a perfectly cromulent word.

    I don't think Ryan should be fired for re-signing Capps, but I'm getting tired of how much they overvalue the save statistic. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Capps pitches well enough that we could trade him for something in July. Also that the other GMs have amnesia.

    I wish Giolito didn't have the elbow issue at the beginning of the year. From what I've heard, he and Buxton probably have the most upside of anybody in the draft. Keith Law (or was it Mark Simon?) was pretty dismissive of the injury a week or two ago. Is there any way the Twins would pick Giolito #2? In a pretty weak draft, it's not that far-fetched, is it?

    Funny. None of these snippets struck me as amateurish. I've listened to lots of podcasts with Jonah Keri and he writes the same way he talks. I also doubt that Keri titled the article himself. I seem to recall Bill Simmons recently mentioning that they don't write the titles for their own articles. Keri clearly isn't writing to Twins fans. He's pointing out that the Twins are in a bad spot and it's going to get worse before it gets better.
