  1. Positioning players in the field is a part of strategy. The extremeness of such is a manager prerogative. Players need to be able to adjust. If they can't they will struggle. Rules don't need to be put in place to help those less talented.
  2. I have a heard a few people call for the head of Tom Brunansky. I have no idea if Brunansky is a good hitting coach or not because I haven't seen him work. However... I do feel like blaming Brunansky is like blaming the Auto Body guy because someone brought Jimmy Dean's Porsche in the same condition after the accident at 8AM and said... I need this ready by 3PM. No Auto Body guy can do that. Blame the guy who brought the car in. Rosario is swinging at everything... Arcia, Buxton and Dozier are trying to hit the ball 600 feet. Murphy hasn't seen that many professional pitches. Santana is coming off a year where the wheels came off. Park hasn't seen any MLB pitches... Sano is still new and still needs to adjust to adjustments. I'd say his job is larger then most in his profession. Unless you have proof that Bruno is saying to Arcia... "See that Dog on the Target Center Building... Try to Hit that... I think you can do it" I'm not sure Bruno is to blame.
  3. This part sure seems to be the case
  4. His BABIP is low because he a dead pull hitter and shift stops him dead. With the shift... He has so little open green to find. He hits pop ups and weak grounders because that's the only thing he can do when he tries to pull off an outside pitch. A guy like Ortiz will send an outside pitch over the CF wall. Dozier ain't that strong. Major League Pitchers who give a crap know this and will try their best to not give him the only thing he can punish.
  5. I chose July because it was the start of the month and on July 1st... His Batting Average was .268 and that was his high water mark. That's when the downhill clearly began.
  6. I won't disagree with you on this But I will say that it would have been a lot easier for Molitor to make that decision if the bullpen would have been addressed in the off season.
  7. I wanted Dave Roberts. Joe Maddon is so far ahead of everyone else in my opinion. I would have taken the guy who was working with him.
  8. We will improve But now I worry that the front office will Aaron Hicks the young talent before we get a chance to.
  9. There is a great peach here... you just got to put it back on the tree for a bit and surround it with some other fruit. Can't live on the peach alone
  10. Another point... the Veteran Miggy made two bonehead base running plays this weekend. It isn't the Sano Adventure at the end of the game... It's all of it. YOUTH!!!
  11. I'm not just talking about the Sano Bonehead Base Running. I'm talking about everything all year... the overall construction of this team. We are too Young!!! And part of that was the Sano finish to that game. Sano going for a triple was straw number 4,589 and I've been told my limit is 4,600
  12. Why doesn't Detroit shift for Dozier?
  13. Don't you go Jinxing this thing. I got me some Lester Fever
  14. I'm with you... I was searching Sunday Night for the best College Catcher in the 2016 Draft. One from Clemson and One from Miami (Fla) depending on who came up with the Mock but they were later 1st round projections so the Twins man have to improve to get one.
  15. I like Escobar... I'm glad he's a Twin but both of those drops cost us a run each time.
  16. Yeah... It is my fault. Terry Ryan read my posts and said... Nope... I'm going to do it my way. I wasn't convincing enough
  17. I'm sitting with Stringer at the game yesterday... Upton at the plate for his first at-bat and I tell String. "I wouldn't have paid a dollar for Upton... I don't like him as a player" Boom Upton Hits a rocket to the Upper (Middle) Deck in LF. I continue on talking to Stringer "This guy is worth every penny... the Tigers got a steal signing this guy"
  18. What is with Escobar dropping the ball out of his glove? He did it yesterday on the Miggy Double where he would have been nailed. And again right now
  19. I had a 5AM Face Off with a Pitbull once. Young and Married... Living in Apartments here in Grand Forks. 5AM... Heading off to work. It is pitch dark. Fulll Garbage Bag was left by the door for me to throw in the dumpster. Dumpster is probably 30 to 40 Yards from my car. I throw the Bag in the Dumpster... Loud Bang of an Empty Dumpster. Then I hear barking off in the distance getting closer. Walking back to my car... I can hear the sound of claws on the cobblestone. I'm maybe 5 feet from my car when I can tell the dog is real close. So I spin around and Shout and Point NO... The Dog hits the breaks and snarls... It's a Pitbull... It starts looking like it coming forward and I Yell NO and Step Toward the Dog... This went on about 10 times... Me Stepping at the snarling Pitbull and saying NO. It seemed to stop the dog but it didn't seem to defuse the situation. Finally the owner casually gets to the scene and yells the dogs name and the dog runs away. I yell back at the owner "Thanks A Lot" but the owner and the dog just went on it;s way... No Apology or anything.
  20. Don't say indefinitely!!! You are the Vice President!!! Do not give Molitor any ideas!!!
  21. I got a Neighbor dog like that. It can only take a chunk out of my tires so I feel much safer.
  22. Aggies likes that you got bit... he gave your post a like. What kind of dog?
  23. I like watching Abad pitch. He's been a plus so far this year. His changing of speeds is Alligator Like Explanation: Alligators are fast... not fastest but fast but most of the time... they appear to be very slow So Yeah... Abad is Alligator like I think that fits.
