. I do put a lot of effort into knowing my job and hustling to be in position and I know that helps to get a neutral crowd. Don't get in the way of a good game. 100 % agree, i had many many plays that were borderline but doing what you quoted Always made the big difference,

Highschool umpire conundrum......after the dropped ball the umpire should wave his hands and yell "drop ball, not out" and let it play out. with only a legit Appeal , is what i thought and here yelling is not a legal appeal

The ump had zero right to call safe then out A legal appeal has to be made which sounds like it wasent, normally i would like to think gotta go back to the 1st call ? but here , gotta find the old rule book, what did you come up with ??
