  1. Buxton base hit and Dozier tries to hit it into the stratosphere and pops out.
  2. Sometimes the Twins infield looks like the Keystone Cops.
  3. Nasty pitch for strike 3 on Garver.
  4. 10 years, it was good, but like the 7 year best.
  5. I still have some 10 year old white cheddar left. Will try it now, drinking it with coke zero.
  6. It is sharp and has a drier texture than the grocery stores. I go to Bass Lake cheese factory in Somerset, WI. They will let you sample their cheeses. The ones over 7 years are a bit too crumbly for my taste.
  7. Pulled out a brick of 7 year old cheddar when Escobar drove in the tying run. One of my favorite pleasures.
  8. I think Odorizzi should be treated like a reliever. Give him his innings,(5) regardless of pitch count, hits or runs allowed.
  9. Learned about this in Pyschology class in college. Alien hand syndrome (AHS) or Dr. Strangelove syndrome is a condition in which a person experiences their limbs acting seemingly on their own, without control over the actions. The term is used for a variety of clinical conditions and most commonly affects the left hand.
  10. The ball did not even come off of the ground for a second bounce. I don't blame him.
  11. Lefty against lefty, we don't pay no mind to that.
  12. What would you have wanted instead? I don't dare say a name because I don't a message telling me that I was naughty.
  13. Here is my advice for our hitters: William H. “Wee Willie” Keeler was one of the smallest players ever in major league baseball at 5’4”, 140 pounds, but he had one of the biggest bats in the game, both figuratively and literally, weighing up to 46 ounces. His motto was, “Keep your eye on the ball and hit ‘em where they ain’t,” and it certainly worked for the third baseman-turned-outfielder. Keeler had 13 straight seasons in which he batted over .300 and he reached the mark in 16 of the 19 years he played. He had a lifetime average of .345 and for seven straight seasons he also had an on-base percentage that was above .400.
  14. Until I saw the replay I thought he got a gift walk.
  15. This game could be as quick as last nights game. Hopefully with a different result.
  16. Buxton with another K. Not being critical, because lots of them tonight for the whole team. What impressed me was when I replayed his at bat, his eyes were open every time he swung the bat. He is actually trying to see the ball.
  17. Happy that Sano missed his third strike by 3 feet, he didn't break what might be his favorite bat.
  18. Just got here so I will try to be positive, Buxton K'd on 4 pitches not three. Paxton struck out the side, not sure how to give that a positive spin. I have had dogs and cats over the years, some good and some bad. If I had my choice for a pet it would be a Kodiak bear, it would probably tear me to shreds eventually, but until then nobody would dare mess with me.
