  1. Sano - homers on Sunday the 15th and Tuesday the 17th. That's 5 homers, 1 triple and 14 RBI's in 12 games. Average @ .256, but OPB @ .408, OPS 1.100
  2. First, when does the clock start ticking on Marquis' time on the BL - he has up to 7 days. When he comes off, I think Burnett will be the first sent down for more seasoning. When Baker comes off the DL, Hendricks will be sent down to get starts at Rochester - he'll be up & down this season (ie doubleheader starts with 26 man roster option and rotation injuries). Dozier will be the starting shortstop no later than trade deadline, with Caroll moving to 2B and Casilla to UI. Burroughs could be traded to a true contender at that time. This will be the best all-round Twins bench in years - maybe since the early 90's. Depending on starting pitching, the Twins have a shot at being well over .500. My prediction is that the Twins will surprise, a close 3rd place, Detroit, KC, MN, Cle, CWS.
  3. One thing not mentioned as a possibility - could the Twins trade Revere. I assume that someone in the major leagues could use an outstanding centerfielder with his speed. For once we could sell high (and I would only trade him for a good ROI). Benson would become your reserve centerfielder, possibly a better reserve outfielder option than Revere.
  4. Also found it interesting the Willingham played in left today!
  5. I found it interesting that at the end of the game Towles was put in at 3rd base. Could this possibly be an effort to add more flexibility to the bench? He did successfully make a play in the 9th. I think somebody somewhere wants this guy to make the team. With Doyle gone and Zumaya either on the 60 day or cut, this leaves 2 spots open on the 40-man. Room for Burroughs & Towles perhaps?
