Cory Provus, Voice of the Minnesota Twins, Joins the Winter Meltdown

Twins Daily is excited to host the 2025 Winter Meltdown at the Underground Music Venue nearby Target Field, starting at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 25th. Attendees will get a chance to watch live interviews with three special guests, the first of whom we're revealing today: Cory Provus, TV play-by-play announcer for the Minnesota Twins!

Cory Provus took the helm last year at a tumultuous time for TV as the team navigated its gradual departure from Bally's/Diamond Sports. But now the Twins are ready to fully step into their vision for the future, with Provus leading the way. The team's new direct-to-consumer streaming option, Twins TV, promises to eliminate blackouts and expand the availability of Twins baseball and Provus's outstanding calls.

We are thrilled to welcome the Voice of the Minnesota Twins to the Winter Meltdown. We can't wait to hear Cory's thoughts on the new TV setup, his experiences in year one in the TV booth, and his expectations for the 2025 Twins. 

As we shared last week, the Winter Meltdown will:

• Take place at Underground Music Venue, one block from Target Field, just as TwinsFest wraps up on Saturday.
• Feature delicious Caffrey's Subs and craft beers from our sponsors at BlackStack Brewing (plus a full bar). Also: collectible pint glasses for all attendees!
• Be a chance to mingle with fellow Twins fans and see live on-stage interviews hosted by Gleeman and the Geek,
