spideyo Provisional Member Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 12 game hitting streak, and leading the league in homers? Gotta be one of the highlights of the season so far. Plus, my 5 year old has taken to calling him "Mr. Hammer"
striker_86 Provisional Member Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 no kidding! How long can he keep this up?
whydidnt Verified Member Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I expected him to be an offensive upgrade over Cuddyer, but a 12 game hitting streak? Not what any of us saw, I don't think!
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 He is, without a doubt, a Willing Hammer!
Gernzy Verified Member Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 It's great to see him off to such a good start. Plus his defense has been better the last few games. Let's see how long he can keep it going.
James Verified Member Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 I'm really enjoying watching him. His defense has been suspect at times, but he has been looking a lot better. And when he hits a Willing-homer, they are absolutely crushed.
nokomismod Verified Member Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 He has been really great so far, and I know he will cool off, but the fact that he has the potential to crush any mistake made to him makes our lineup better.
