This is about the fifth game in the past two weeks where we've just mailed it in and hasn't been even remotely competitive for any of the game.

These past three seasons have been worse than any in the late 90s. I think this may be the worst of them all.

And he mentions Luke Hochevar. Considering these guys are mouthpieces for the FO, this means Ryan's looking at the barrel-scraping method of pitcher locating.

He mentioned Hochevar, reasoning that he's a former starter who's been pushed into the bullpen by the improved rotation the Royals have made for themselves.

 

Sounds like a surefire recipe for success to me.
