ashbury Verified Member Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Heh. Look at these fools in their multi-use parks. "Fine play by Sogard at the 70 yard line" lol Hey, how come a guy named Eric Sogard isn't playing for Minnesota, dontchaknow?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Hey, how come a guy named Eric Sogard isn't playing for Minnesota, dontchaknow?Because he changed the spelling from Sjogaard. His parents disowned him.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 We should come up with a snarky nickname that captures the Twins "offense." Anyone? Snepp? If the old dangerous version of this offense were the Piranhas, maybe now we have the Guppies, who'll gum you to death.

glunn Community Moderator Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 So far, it seems to me that KC has some good stuff and is pitching a good game.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2013 Author Posted September 20, 2013 Well, not that I'm especially playing can-you-top-that, but my wife and I worked for 10 years for a French company. Then my last year at IBM I barely dodged the bullet of being partnered with somebody in Bangalore. That woulda been swell. I used to have a job as Balloon Holder for a rookie knife thrower at Walmart. Complete Rookie... Just transferred over from Cosmetics.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2013 Author Posted September 20, 2013 when you first see that picture... At that size... You first thought is Yike!!! Then you realize that Ike is more appropriate.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Is there like a Tommy John lasik surgery we can give to Plouffe? He is absolutely hopeless against a decent righthanded breaking ball it seems.

ashbury Verified Member Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 I just checked the PBP and find that while we were farting around, Arcia threw out a runner at the plate. Let's give our young guy credit.
