Twins (Ryan) Vs Tigers (Melton) 9/7/26 @2:10pm CDT

I've noticed the game threads don't have a large header on the home screen anymore. I assume that is either 1) The site thought it wasn't necessary or 2) The team is playing poorly. Just came here to say that even if the team is bad, I didn't hate having the header on the home screen to be able to direct right to the thread for the game that day.

The Twins may want to think about how the WS built their team...started in 2024...GM brought up young players and made some trades ...but need experience in the GM

Milwaukee has done the same thing, but we need a real GM to understand this.  When you call up Gray a second time like Zoll did in July and keeps carrying Jackson after DFA'ing him once shows he has no clue on how to build a winning organization.

Also why you hold on to players at the deadline, especially like Larnach, but also like Jeffers and even Ryan to an extent (but especially Larnach) when you have younger players ready.

Well...Dr. Mrmpls, guess he is faking it ...write the team doctor and trainer...the team makes the decision

guess he is faking it - never said that ,  its a excuse for a tired or dead arm which no player wants to admit- Gotta be Machismo these days ,   he has this issue every year so how is it now they know ?  c,mon,   Baseball players in todays world are ??     wishing Joe well -Team dr,s  and agents work together more than you think !!   and that i do have knowledge of

It was a routine grounder, so of course it was a normal throw.

Just watched the replay (3X), it was not a real difficult play. Lewis has a history of bad throws and this was one more...

Larnach I agree on, I think Jeffers was a different situation.  I know a lot of people would have like to get prospects for him, but to the casual fan when we were still in it, that would have been tougher to sell why they traded one of their best hitters.  I would have been fine either way, but I don't think he was as straight forward to move on from as others think.

I get a kick out of people call him an ace. He’s a third starter on a good team.

only here ,  Taj is now , Joe is a 3-4   on most teams,   nothing wrong with that !!

Of course...prettymuch like that in all pro sports when money moves the game...in the old days ballplayer had to play...they even tool parttime jobs during the off season......this LSU news on them taking back former professional NFL players into the college ranks only makes it worse...college players gain financially nowadays also.....

So the free agents will be Jeffers...Rogers..Minter...Bell...Larnach....is that correct?

Larnach is still under team control if they tender him, I would have to believe he is non tendered.  But if Zoll is still in charge who knows.

Taj is our best pitcher after Joe, but nowhere near an ace, he is a #3 pitcher.

Caratini has a 2 year contract..Will be back...Jeffers doubtful in my view.. really not comfortable with a catatini Jackson tandem

I agree, but I think the GM of the team should be bold and a forward thinker. With Jeffers specifically, I would have preferred either an extension done or a trade. Yes he has a great bat, and yes at the time they were very much in the playoff race. But the GM of the team I cheer for should plan ahead better in scenarios like that. That's what I mean.
