In case you missed it, there's a new exciting reason to show up: we'll have three pairs of tickets to give away for a Twins Season Kickoff Party on Wednesday, April 10th. The party will benefit Tix for Tots and feature Paul Molitor, Mark Rosen, Twins EVP Laura Day and some blogger named Bonnes. Plus appetizers and a free wine-tasting, all at the Metropolitan Club in Target Field. You can register for this event and learn more by clicking on this link.

I want to thank Seth, John, et al, for putting that together.

It was poor business that 612 Brewery did not know the channel (or whatever the problem was).

I hope you got to see some of the game.

Peace

They wouldn't even switch the channel for you guys? On one t.v? I have never understood that. Some bartenders are happy to oblige, others get all butthurt when you ask. Its a crapshoot.

The worst for me was 1 time at Kieran's in 2010. If you don't know, that bar is 2 blocks from Target Field, it was packed with Twins fans for a noon game on Saturday, and because they're a Irish "pub" I guess, had world cup soccer playing. Refused our requests to switch to the Twins on one t.v. Haven't been back since.

Since you guys didn't get to see it evidently, the highlight of the game was probably in the bottom of the 4th, Dozier made a nice between the legs backup play at 1B

Thank you, Seth. And John and Parker. Nick too, although I didn't get the chance to meet you.

I'm pretty sure the problem getting the game was a Comcast thing, since other people in the area were having trouble too. One of the 612 employees eventually got it streaming to his laptop, and hooked that up to the big screen. That was about the 5th inning, so meh.

Anyway, great beer, nice people. I can't complain. Didn't have to go very far to get there, though.
