I am also curious about why Molitor made this change.I believe that Kepler has better range, better arm and is a better decision maker. Cave has been adequate in CF, but there is room for improvement. His skill set profiles as more of a corner outfielder in my opinion.

Cave's range (and fly-ball tracking/route) is OK in my book, and Kepler's range looks better in RF than it does when he's in center. It's about a dead heat. Both suffice. Arm and decision-making (or ability to complete the play that range brings him to), I'm with you.
