The Minnesota Twins earned a two-game sweep over the Brewers by winning 4-2 Wednesday. It was an impressive showing from the pitching staff, as Bailey Ober delivered another six strong innings and Brock Stewart, Jhoan Duran and Griffin Jax combined to be perfect out of the bullpen. In the minors, Chris Williams slugged another couple of home runs for the Saints and Cory Lewis dazzled hitters with his knuckleball for the Kernels.
There was also some catching up to do on the action from Sunday and yesterdays' action, as I was in Duluth for the past few nights and wasn't able to get these recaps out. Other players featured include Carlos Correa, Willi Castro, Alerick Soularie, Gilberto Celestino and more.
