How many guys have had two singles off the wall in one game? And no RBI, despite having a runner on second for each hit? Crazy.
  7. Don Walcott
    Why pitch to Cruz there?

That has to be the first time that sentence has been written. The chimps are typing away furiously, but couldn’t come up with that one.

Case in point, tonight they have a front office guy in the booth. That seems to be the majority of their guests.

The only other broadcast I watch fairly regularly is the Rockies. They have a guest very occasionally. But it’s not often a former Rockie.

Polanco’s slumping, but he’s still fielding the position well.
  21. Don Walcott
He’s a smart guy. No wonder he was such a great pitcher.

I was kidding. But, seriously, the way an option usually works is that it has to be exercised by a certain date. No reason it can’t be exercised now, right?
  23. Don Walcott
They haven’t yet? What are we waiting for?
  24. Don Walcott
    Boom stick!!

I know this seems like a lot of hindsight. And I couldn't watch the game today. But I checked the Game Thread, and there were definitely people questioning the decision to bring in Dyson as it was happening. It would have been cool if it had worked. But it was very uncool that it did not work. And Rocco can handle just criticism, as he's a grown ass manager, isn't he?
