I guess I don't know anything really about Tanaka. I've looked at his stats and he's not a strikeout pitcher so what's the point. They need guys like Detroits guys. Starters that are capable of getting 10 K's every night.

His defense is what concerns me. I think the hitting thing is just a result of him trying to do to much because he wants to be in the lineup everyday. Once he realizes that Gardy just doesn't get it he'll make the best of the AB's he gets. The defense is worrisome though. We don't need another Willingham or worse another Pedro Munoz!

I think Rosario can be as good a hitter at the MLB level as cano if he continues to perfect his swing.
